Position Summary: EdgeCast is looking for a Director of Product Management with the vision, drive, and experience to lead the development of new service offerings and help drive and enhance existing services of our core CDN product line.

Job Title: Partner Implementation Manager - US (currently hiring in Los Angeles)
Position Summary: Implementation Manager is responsible for delivering a heightened level of service to wholesale partners and resellers of the EdgeCast CDN service.
Education: 4 year college degree preferred.
Major Job Function:
- Key member of partner account team.
- Expected to develop deep customer relationships.
- Manage customer orders and activities from receipt of order through scheduling, execution, and installation.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and manage schedules, deliverables, and client expectations.
- Schedule & facilitate customer implementation meetings and manage new partner kick-off process.
- Serve as primary point of contact for all post-sale customer facing issues.
- Work collaboratively cross functionally to research issues and solve problems.

Job Title: Business Development Representative:
Position Summary: The Business Development Representative's primary responsibilities are to handle and address inbound leads from a defined territory, and outbound prospecting via phone to prospect lists and specific targeted vertical markets, as defined by sales and marketing strategies.
Education: BA, BS or above
Major Job Function:
- Accept, qualify, and close prospects generated via both outbound calling initiatives and incoming inquiries generated through web advertising and marketing campaigns
- Have a complete technical understanding of and ability to articulate and demonstrate the EdgeCast product line and value proposition
- Maintain account and opportunity pipeline with weekly reports to sales management
- Prospect into target accounts and leads generated via various marketing campaigns to find new revenue opportunities

Job Title: System Administrator
Position Summary: System administrations are responsible for the maintenance and management of thousands of servers around the world that comprise the EdgeCast content delivery network. The candidate will have a thorough technical background and strong experience with multiple operating systems and web servers, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task and handle many technical responsibilities.
Education: BS preferred
Major Job Function:
- Maintain and monitor all EdgeCast servers that are located around the world.
- Be responsible for server performance, updates, management, and hardware.
- Work with engineering to develop new technology and deploy new products and services across the EdgeCast CDN.
- Be flexible and available to work shifts that may be outside of standard business hours.
- Deep experience maintaining, managing, and monitoring servers running Linux and Windows OS
- Knowledge of caching protocols and web servers a big plus.
- Experience with Flash Media Server and Windows Media in a CDN environment preferred.
- At least 5 years background in server and system administration for multiple servers in remote preferred.
Job Title: Senior Software Engineer
About EdgeCast Engineering Team: As part of the core Engineering team at EdgeCast, the individual will be responsible for creating, maintaining and optimizing complex software and systems that are distributed globally in all of the EdgeCast datacenters running on 100s or 1000s of servers. The systems created are mission critical and fault tolerant solutions that handle customers web application traffic, and are monitored and maintained by EdgeCast's 24/7 network operation center.
About The Job: You must be an experienced, self-motivated software engineer with proven problem solving abilities. You will be part of the core engineering team and working in a fast paced environment to create and invent solutions that makes the internet faster, more secure, more scalable and reliable.
Responsibilities:
- Building new and enhancing existing applications using C/C++.
- Researching and analyzing application behaviors and improving performance or stability.
- Working within our global network to optimize applications for linear scaling.

Job Title: Technical Support/NOC Manager
Position Summary: The EdgeCast Network Operation Center is the primary point of contact for customers, vendors and internal engineering resources utilizing a 24/7/365 high availability network. The NOC is staffed by a dynamic team of complementary strengths and we are searching for a hands-on technical NOC manager to guide and lead the team.
This position is responsible for scheduling activities, being the primary escalation point of contact for customer from the NOC team from a management or technical perspective. This position requires excellent knowledge of Flash/Windows streaming technology, proxy caches and other internet related protocols.
Responsibilities: This is a position where the successful candidate will be a hands on individual responsible for managing other technical resources in the NOC. As such, some of the duties will include:
- Developing, implementing, documenting and enforcing NOC policies and procedures
- Hiring, training, and motivating NOC staff
- Being the primary point of contact for internal and external resources
- Managing support of a 24/7/365 network with all the associated tasks
- Providing weekly and monthly reports to upper management
- An in depth understanding of websites and how HTML, HTTP, Flash/WMS, FTP, DNS and other internet protocols work with a focus on media delivery with a 3-5 year experience.
- At least 3 years experience working with proxy servers and internet technologies.

Job Title: NOC (network operations) Engineer
Position Summary: NOC engineers are responsible for the 24/7 monitoring of the EdgeCast CDN, comprising hardware, software, and network technologies. The NOC engineers will have the ability to resolve many technical issues, and for escalations be able to escalate to the correct technical resources within EdgeCast for a timely resolution. NOC engineers also will be able to respond to and resolve customer issues, working directly with the EdgeCast customers via phone/chat/email.
Education: BS preferred
Major Job Function:
- Monitor all global EdgeCast servers, applications, network devices, and network connections.
- Work with the systems administration and network administration teams to quickly resolve complex issues within specific service level agreement times.
- Perform basic systems troubleshooting and management
- Work directly with EdgeCast customers to respond to and resolve technical issues and questions, and coordinate with the EdgeCast systems and network admin teams when necessary.
- Experience maintaining, managing, and monitoring servers running Linux and Windows OS preferred.
- Knowledge of network functionality, peering, IP transit, BGP a big plus
- Experience with hardware configuration including Windows and Linux systems preferred

Job Title: Senior Support Engineer - Network Operation Center (NOC)
Position Summary: An EdgeCast Network Operation Center (NOC) Senior Support engineer is a high powered individual responsible for resolving complex application and network problems on the EdgeCast CDN and addressing customer issues reported to the EdgeCast NOC.
The Sr. Support Engineer has intimate knowledge of the internet and networking protocols. Along with their excellent communication skills, it allows them to perform in-depth troubleshooting of intricate caching and streaming problems, often communicating directly with the customer's technical contact. Additional responsibilities include acting as the escalation point for all NOC Technicians, approving an escalation that fits a pre-determined criteria, tracking of all escalations and dispatches from the NOC group as well as filling in for all NOC responsibilities as the need arises.
The successful candidate will possess a full understanding of web environments and architectures, very strong knowledge of HTTP, Flash, Windows Media, DNS, and familiarity with web caching. The candidate must be very comfortable using Linux and Windows. Candidates must be able to communicate clearly and effectively to a technical audience.
The successful Sr. Support Engineer candidate must be well organized and motivated, a team player, with the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks while paying close attention to detail.
Education: BS in Computer Science is preferred
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Aid in monitoring all global EdgeCast servers, applications, network devices, and network connections and customer traffic utilizing specific tools and processes.
- Be the escalation point for technical issues from the NOC Technicians
- Work with various subject matter expert teams to resolve escalated issues within the time constraints of the defined SLA.
- Work directly with EdgeCast customers as a Senior Technical contact from the NOC.
- Provide training on a monthly basis to other NOC Technicians on new features, enhancements.
- Provide regular training on how to help reduce escalations of issues.
- An in depth understanding of HTTP, Flash/WMS, FTP, DNS and other internet protocols work with a focus on rich media delivery with a 3-5 year experience.

Position Summary:
- Internal and external technical documentation.

- Maintain primary responsibility for planning, oversight and execution of technical documents that support the launch of new technologies and communications directed towards the release of new features.
- Deliverables include, but are not limited to, white papers, PowerPoint presentations, user guides and technical manuals.
- Support of Product Managers in development of Gate Review materials, including Business Plans and other written deliverables.
- Support and execution of the process to support the product launch phase.
- Detailed understanding of the collateral production process.

Position Summary: Due to our continued growth, we are seeking to add an experienced full-time, in-house Technical Recruiter to our staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the hiring of staff for entry level and experienced technology positions.
